Tracy Howard Obituary
He graduated with honors from San Juan College with a degree in Instrumentation. After working for the City of Durango, Tracy had a long career with Meadow Gold Dairy and was a branch manager at retirement.
Tracy loved playing city league softball, volleyball and racquetball. He especially enjoyed camping and fishing with friends and colleagues. Tracy grew up surfing in Southern California and felt most at home near the ocean, always finding joy and contentment in the water. His wishes were to eventually be returned to the ocean waves near where he grew up.
He is survived by sons Alex Howard (Krista Rust) and Scotty Howard, sister Christine "Tine" Rioux, brother-in-law Jerry Rioux and former wife of 30 years, Barbara Wallace Howard.
Tracy will be remembered for his sense of humor, devotion to family and fundamental generosity of spirit. We will miss him everyday.
Memorial donations in Tracy's honor can be made to Mercy Hospice House.
