Sandra Larson Obituary

Sandra (Fisher) Larson passed away peacefully on February 14th at the age of eighty-six. Born on on December 9th, 1936, in Norwood, Colorado, Sandie graduated from Durango High School in Durango, Colorado and later attended business school in Denver.

Sandie is preceded in death by her parents, Gert and Dave Fisher. She is survived by her husband Vaughn, her sons Ron and Matt, daughter Linda Mounts (Jim), and her sister Pam Thomas (David). Sandie was a grandmother to Jamie (Amanda) and Brennan Mounts (Holli), Kendra Owens (Chad), Kelsie Garcia (Aaron), Erin Mina (Devin), and Matt Larson. She was also a great-grandmother of seven.

Sandie was a long-time resident of El Paso, Texas. Vaughn and Sandie eventually settled in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Many thanks to the wonderful people at Desert Peaks Assisted Living and Memory Care as well as Home Care Hospice.

The Rosary will be held Saturday, March 11 at 7 PM at La Paz Funeral Home in Las Cruces, and the funeral will be held Monday, March 13, 10 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Las Cruces. Reception to follow at Holy Cross School.
