Patricia Meador Obituary

West Plains, Missouri (formerly of Ava, MO). Patricia Ann Meador, 83 years, 5 months, 11 days old, passed away on April 4, 2017 at West Vue Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, West Plains, MO with her children by her side.
Pat was born October 23, 1933 in Aztec, New Mexico to Elza Loren and Edith (Maddox) Bell.
Pat retired from the Personnel Department of Emerson Electric in Ava, MO after working there many years. She had previously worked for H&R Block in Durango, CO and at Shipley's in Gem Village, CO.
Pat and Frank Meador were united in marriage on October 9, 1959.
Pat was involved in 4-H Club and Pow Wow in Bayfield, CO and was a room mother for her children when they were in school. She enjoyed antiques, flea markets, cooking and sewing. She also loved the Denver Broncos and was an avid reader. Most of all she loved being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren!
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank in 2014, one son, Patric Meador, a sister, Breta Opstad, and a brother, T.J. Dial.
Pat is survived by five children and their spouses, Frankie and Tom White, Durango, CO, Diana and Randy Talbot, Pagosa Springs, CO, Laurie and Robbie Davis, West Plains, MO, Charley and Vickie Meador, Mtn. Grove, MO and LeeAnn and Kris Norman, Ava, MO, grandchildren, Geoff, Tracy and Amanda White, Rochelle Shahan, Misty Rathjen, Charmaine Martin, Brian Hill, Nicole Odom, Whitney, Jordin, and Courtney Davis, Erin Greenfield, Eric Click, Madison Meador, Kelly, Jeff and Klay Norman, and Brett Ozment, great grandchildren, Payton, Kayson, Karsyn, Tyler, Zoe, Rance, Ivor, Trigg, Emerald, Lauren, Kathryn, Olivia, Landon, Tyson, Lilly, Aiden, Greyson, Marli, Mikah, Royal, Kiley, Kenna, and Hadley, sister-in-law, Myrna Couch, Elk City, KS, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Services for Pat will be Friday, April 7, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO. Graveside service will be Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.in the Bayfield Pine River Cemetery Bayfield, Colorado under the direction of Hood Mortuary in Durango, CO.
