Janice Lee Aarvold known as Jan, 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep in Newport Beach on October 22, 2025. Born on October 8, 1933, in Los Angeles, California, to Robert Allen Jr. and Bernice (Billy) Eleanor Smith Allen, Jan lived a life full of adventure and cherished moments near the water she loved so dearly.

Jan is survived by her husband of 71 years, Don/Roxy Aarvold; her sister Ann Pangle; her three children Mark Aarvold, Kelly Couzens Brooks and her husband Michael Brooks, and Brad Aarvold; her grandchildren Brittnie Couzens, Kristen Couzens, Morgan Aarvold, Grace Aarvold, Alyssa Cash and her spouse Sean Cash, Kyle Aarvold and his spouse Sarah, Cody Aarvold, Kourtney Aarvold, and Ash Aarvold; and great-grandchildren Stella and Sophia Aarvold. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Michael Aarvold.
