Jackson Clark II Obituary
1950 - 2025
A celebration of life for Jackson Clark II will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, September 29, in the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College. Doors will open at 12:15 to accommodate those arriving early from a long distance. A reception will follow in the courtyard in front of the Center of Southwest Studies, next to the concert hall.
For those wishing to make a gift in memory of Jackson, in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Jackson Clark II Internship Fund for the Center of Southwest Studies at [email protected] or FLC Foundation, 1000 Rim Drive, Durango,CO 81301 or to the Navajo Water Project at nonprofit DIGDEEP. org.

1969, Midnight, Jackson drove the family 4X4 from Electra to Cascade Divide road to rescue our stranded group from a mud bog. For the next 50+ years we would remember, smile and joke. A loss! Rest in Peace. Condolences Antonia and family.

I was ucky enough to know Jackson & Antonia when I worked at the chamber of commerce way back when. He was a lovely man, always willing to go the extra mile for any projects or events in the community. I feel lucky to have known him. Rest in peace.
