Jack Davis Obituary

Jack Curtis Davis, 75, of Durango, CO died in the early morning hours of March 6, 2023 in Farmington, NM, with his beloved wife, Janet, at his side. His absence will be felt every day by friends and family. They will miss hearing about his travels and his recommendations for the best national parks and historic landmarks. They will miss discussing the books he read and the concerts, performances and exhibits he attended. And they will miss the laughter he shared with everyone, especially those who joined him on the front porch during good weather.

Jack was a veteran, having served in the Air Force during the Vietnam era. His USAF training led him to a career in flight simulation, and to Janet. They celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary in the hospital shortly before his death.

In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by his brother Jay, cousins Betsy, Brian and Don, brothers-in-law Andrew and Graham, and nieces and nephews across the country.
