So sorry to hear about your Mom. She was a great lady and Denny loved her.

Such good memories I have of Alvie. She was one of the "Sage Hen" gals who helped me make it through those early years as a new mom and being new to the Durango community. We have all been blessed by knowing her. My sympathies to all of you.

My heart goes out to all of you! It's so hard to lose your mother. She is the heart of the family. Mrs. Paulek was the best bowler ever! We always had a good laugh and a whole lot of fun! You will truly be missed.

I've known Alvie and her family, most of my life, and have admired how special she was. There was never a time that she didn't have a smile on her lovely face, and a welcome hug from her arms. Her personality was one of love and welcome, to everyone that she encountered, and her Christian values were always manifested in her children. She always made me feel like family.
My heart aches for her family, and i will miss seeing her. Our community lost a beautiful friend, but heaven gained an even more beautiful angel.
Rest in peace Alvie. Tell my mom that I miss her.

My favorite Aunt. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. I will not forget all the good times I had staying at her place and all the lessons learned when under her care and somewhat close supervision. Aunt Alvie was known for the warmth, care, and love she shared with her family and friends. There will never be another like her.
