In Loving Memory of Michael Cobb



Michael Cobb, a shining light in the lives of all who knew him, passed away leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and an abundance of love. Michael led a very successful career as an electrician, earning the respect of his colleagues and taking great pride in his craftsmanship and hard work.

To know Michael was to know a heart that gave generously and a spirit that brightened even the darkest days. His greatest joy, however, was always found in his family. He shared a profound and tender bond with his parents, Wendy Oliver-Cobb and Michael Ronald Cobb, and held a deep, lifelong respect and affection for his grandfather, Ernest L. Oliver Jr.

Above all else, Michael cherished his daughter. She was the center of his world and his proudest achievement; he loved her with a depth beyond words. He is also survived by Marisa, the mother of his daughter, with whom he shared the journey of parenthood.

Michael was a protective and loving brother to Payton Cobb, Ayden Cobb, Mason Cobb, Alyssa Cobb, Avery Cobb, and Letta Cobb. His light will continue to shine through them and through the many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who were lucky enough to call him family.

Though his time with us was far too short, the love he gave so freely remains as a guiding light for everyone he touched. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Following the funeral services, the family invites friends and loved ones to join them for a reception to share memories and celebrate Michael's life at the family home in Merriam, Kansas.
