LAWLEY CLAN: Myself & my daughter Amy Duffy are saddened to hear of John's passing. John was my 1st cousin as my Mom, Catherine Brophy Duffy, & John's Mom, Mary Brophy Lawley, were sisters. As kids in Waterbury, my siblings Ed & Mary, & myself spent tons of time at your Grandma's house visiting & running back and forth nextdoor to Uncle Joe's house. John was a few year older than my big brother Ed, and he would always have the newest 45 records and I always thought he was " cool ". When I had my daughter, Amy, the first visitor who came to see me & the wee one was John....along with a huge teddy bear which was bigger than Amy at that time !! So, I guess I was right in thinking John was pretty darn cool. I know in my heart that John is now in His Presence surrounded by his Mom & Dad, & sister, MaryAnn. You all will be together again. I pray for your comfort and strength in these difficult
days. Much love to you all,
Lauren Duffy & Amy Duffy.
