Betty Jo (Meek) Wasson, 88, of Garretson, South Dakota, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025.
Services will be held at George Boom Funeral Home, 3408 E. 10th Street, Sioux Falls, South Dakota. on Thursday, November 6, 2025. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m.
Grateful for having shared her life are her children, Roger (Teri) Wasson of Jasper, Minnesota, and Lori (Redgie) Olson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.; her grandchildren, Amanda Sorgdrager, Katie Wasson, Nancy (Justin) Schempp, and Kyle (Jillian Gunlicks) Kneip; several great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Joyce (Garth) Atherly, Robert (JoAnn) Meek, and Frieda Hyton.
