It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Therese M. Parsons, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and cherished friend, at the age of 62. Therese passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Therese was born on December 28, 1963, to the late Frederick and Margaret (Mahoney) Driscoll in
Danvers, MA. She grew up in a large, close-knit family of ten children, and carried that sense of community and connection throughout her life. Her warmth and infectious laughter touched everyone she met, and she made lasting friendships wherever she went.
For nearly 40 years, Therese was the loving wife of her devoted husband, Andrew Parsons. She was the proud mother of Kyle and Allison. As a family, they loved to travel together, creating a lifetime of memories filled with laughter and joy.
A dedicated educator, Therese spent most of her career as a preschool teacher. Her boundless energy, playful spirit, and nurturing nature left a lasting impact on the children she taught. Her classroom was a place of fun and discovery, and many of her students carry the warmth of her presence with them to this day. She believed in the power of laughter and joy in learning, and that was something she gave freely to everyone around her.
Therese's love extended to her siblings and their families: Brigid and Bruce Bolduc, Eileen and Paul Martin, James and Martha Driscoll, Margaret and Gary Keresey, Thomas Driscoll, Christopher and Sonia Driscoll, and Frederick and Rachel Driscoll, as well as her many nieces, nephews and devoted friends. Her vibrant personality and unwavering kindness will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She was predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Margaret Driscoll, as well as her sisters, Moira Evans and Lizzie Listro.
In addition to her family, Therese leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and light. Therese's love and spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
