She graduated from Elkland High School in 1954. After high school graduation Patty attended Missouri State University.

On December 22, 1954, Patty married Lewis Miller who was her childhood sweetheart and lived just across the meadow. To this union two children were born, a son Mark, "Rocky" Miller and a daughter Bea Jo Miller.

She is survived by a son Rocky Miller and his wife Kristie; a daughter Bea Jo Miller; grandson Ryan Miller and his wife Carrie; grandson Adam Miller and his wife Brittanie; two great grandsons Bram Miller and Miles Miller.

Patty was a devoted wife and homemaker who provided loving attention to her family. After her children were grown, she began working in 1980 at the International Association of Fairs and Expositions.
