Patricia H. Narum, 75, of Calcium, New York, passed away at her home on March 2, 2026.

She was born on October 2, 1950, in Watertown, New York, the daughter of Robert and Gladys Streeter LaVancha. Patricia earned her GED. Following her education, she worked as a seamstress at Venus Swimwear for many years. Later working in retail as a sales clerk.

On August 12, 1978, she married Ernest Narum in Dexter, New York. The couple resided locally then relocated to South Dakota to run the family farm for several years. They returned to the area after Ernest became ill.

Patricia is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Karin Overton of Germany, and Steven and Annemarie Overton of Adams, New York; nine grandchildren: Joseph, Daisy, Russell, Sadie, Marshall, Lillianna, Benjamin, Catharina and Rebecca. Six great-grandchildren: Joseph, Jameson, Paisley, Ava Grace, Neva and Allison, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Pamela and Mickey Vollmer of Adams, New York, and Deborah and Jerry Stuckey of Adams, New York. Her companion, William Fread of Calcium of which they shared 25 years together.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by three sisters, Carolyn Smith, Marlene Rabetoy, and Sue Silsby; and one brother, Robert LaVancha.

Arrangements are with Hart & Bruce Funeral Home. In keeping with Patricia's wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no services.
