Patricia Marie Gonzales, 73, of Rochelle, Illinois, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Rockford, Illinois. She was born October 6, 1952, in Rochelle, Illinois, the daughter of Lester Sr. and Loretta (Bunger) Davis. Pat married Lupe Gonzales July 6th, 1974 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Rochelle, IL.

Patricia was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Rochelle and participated in several Bible study groups over the years. Faith and family were central to her life, and she especially cherished time spent with her family at gatherings and celebrations. Patricia loved spending time with her grandchildren and took great joy in spoiling them whenever she could.

She also enjoyed traveling to Branson, Missouri, where she attended many shows over the years. Known for her caring nature, Patricia was always a caretaker to those around her. She preferred to be behind the camera, capturing special moments for others to enjoy. One of her favorite memories was attending her first concert featuring Elvis Presley.

She is survived by her husband, Lupe Gonzales of Rochelle; her children, Guadalupe Gonzales Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, Daniel (Tammy) Gonzales of Rochelle, and Susan (Michael) Dalen of Rochelle; her grandchildren, Jonathan Isley, Michael Isley, Reed Dalen, Hunter Dalen, Ellyse Dalen, Zoey Gonzales, and Harper Dalen.

She is also survived by four siblings: Peggy (Richard) Sawotka of Larson, Wisconsin; Penny (Keith) Lamb of Rochelle; Lester (Mary) Davis Jr. of Rochelle; and Tanya (Dan) Greffe of Newark, Illinois, as well as several nieces, nephews, and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, March 12, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Gudgel officiating.
