LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Pamela "Pam" Kay Watkins Self, age 70, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025. She was born October 28, 1954, a daughter of the late Benjamin Cleveland Watkins and the late Margie McGraw Watkins and was the loving wife of Clyde William "Billy" Self, Jr. Pam enjoyed Chinese Auctions and estate sales. Family was most important to her, and she loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. Her fur babies, Booboo, Coco, and Little Man were a joy to her, and she loved them dearly. Pam was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Pam is survived by her husband of 52 years, Billy Self; sons, Gregory William Self (Alisha) and Kristopher Jason Self; grandchildren, Samantha Self, Kristopher Self, Jr., Brooke Griffin (Griggs), Billie Kay Self (fiancé, Phillip Bryson), Chase Taylor (fiancée, Anna Yoder, Kailey Williams (Ryan), and Chance Hunter; great grandchildren, Skylar Pate, Kingston Pate, Palmer Griffin, JB Griffin, and Kohl Taylor; sister, Rhonda Huffman (Donald); and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Clyde William Self, III; daughter-in-law, Kim Self; and her parents.
The Celebration of Life Service for Pam will be private.
The family will receive friends from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at the home of Billy and Pam.
In lieu of flowers, memorials or contributions may be made to Friendship Baptist Church, Youth Fund, 1809 Bennett Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
