Nancy Lou Lyon 82 of Rogers passed away March 8, 2026, at Promenade Health and Rehab in Rogers. She was born on August 17, 1943, in Marshall, Arkansas, the daughter of Roba and Vigil Auva Lea Treat Covey. Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, volunteer, and business owner. In her early years she worked as a typesetter for the Rogers Daily News. She left the workplace to focus on her family and became active in her local church. After raising her children, she owned and operated businesses including an Antiques and Collectibles Store in Rogers where she refurbished antiques. After relocating to Pittsburg, Texas she was an active member of First Baptist Church for 25 years and owned and operated a Bed & Breakfast. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and helping other women. She was creative and liked to stay busy. She loved to laugh, dance, sew, create, read, journal, and work in her yard. Nancy has been a member of Cross Church in Rogers for 10 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Larry Maxwell Lyon.

She is survived by her two daughters Tamra Ogle and husband Lance and Tracy Lyon Hollinshead, her siblings Norman Covey and wife VaLinn, Linda Reece, Johnny Covey and wife Irene, her grandchildren Matthew Cox and wife Regan, Seth Ogle and wife Madelyn, Lacye Ontiveros and husband Nick, Austin Hollinshead and wife Tia, Ashlyne Gilbert and husband Nathan, Luke Ogle and Maxwell Hollinshead, her great grandchildren Jeremiah Cox, Brody Cox, Tatum Cox, Callie May, Nora May, Leah Gilbert, Samuel Gilbert and baby girl Gilbert.

Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 16, 20265 at Chapel on the Creeks, Rogers, Arkansas. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Rogers Cemetery, Rogers, Arkansas. Online condolences to www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com
