Jeffery Dwain Guffey, age 40, passed away on February 18, 2026.
Jeffery will be remembered for the love he had for his family and the special bond he shared with those closest to him. He enjoyed drawing and listening to music, often finding peace and comfort in expressing himself through art and song. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, John D. Guffey; step-mother, Shelia Guffey; grandfather, James Wilson; grandmother, Patsy Wilson; and grandfather, Jimmy McDaniel.
He is survived by his loving mother, Andrea (Chris) Wilcox; grandmother, Phyllis McDaniel; spouse, Cynthia Day Guffey (Nathan); son, Kayson Chesley; daughters, Heaven Guffey (Justin), Maria Guffey (David), Carissa Guffey, and Aurora Guffey; sister, Miranda Guffey (Jade); and several nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
The family will receive friends at a visitation on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m., with David Tullock and Joseph Bynum officiating.
The family requests that those attending the service honor Jeffery by wearing his favorite colors - red, black, or baby blue - in remembrance of him.
Jeffery's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
