Linda Wenger Stettler, 87, of Georgia, formerly of Strasburg, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026.
A native of Strasburg, Linda's love of music began at an early age. She studied organ and piano in her youth and began playing for church services at just 13 years old - a calling that shaped the course of her life. She earned her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Music Education from West Chester State College.
On June 6, 1960, Linda married Robert Stettler, Sr., and together they built a home filled with music and family. While raising their three children, she continued to teach music in both public school and private settings. She faithfully served as a church organist for decades, continuing to play until five years ago. Her passion for music influenced countless students and church members throughout the years. The gift she shared so freely will continue to resonate in the lives she touched.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Stettler, Sr.; her brother, James Wenger; her children, Randy Stettler of Lancaster, PA, Lynn Long of Strasburg, PA, and Robert Stettler, Jr of Buford, GA; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Melissa, Emily, Braelyn, Grady, and Joah.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, March 6, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Bachman Snyder Funeral Home 7 S. Decatur St., Strasburg, PA 17579. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 7 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with interment to follow in Strasburg Cemetery.
