Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Linda Faye Beasley Lassiter, age 83, passed away at 6:20PM, on Friday, January 30, 2026 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC, surrounded by her loving family. The family will receive friends from 12:30PM-1:45PM-Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Stewart’s Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, Four Oaks, NC. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM-Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Stewart’s Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, Four Oaks, NC. Rev. Freddie Langston and Rev. Curtis Pierce will officiate. Burial will follow in Faith Original Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Four Oaks, NC.
Mrs. Lassiter was born on September 28, 1942 in Johnston County, NC to the late George Beasley and Viola Benson Beasley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Virginia B. Branch, Kenneth Beasley, Margie B. Henry, Donald Beasley, Joseph Beasley, and Judy B. Tancreti. Mrs. Lassiter retired from Data General in Apex, NC, and was also a homemaker. She was a member of Stewart’s Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. She loved to sew, can vegetables, and loved children.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Sherwood Lassiter; sons, Jeffrey David Lassiter and wife, Jerri, and Christopher Mark Lassiter and wife, Debbie; grandson, Joshua David Lassiter and wife, Alesha; siblings, Marvel B. Blackmon, Jerry Beasley, Dorothy B. Perry, Gary Beasley, and Dianne B. Sloop; many loving nieces, and nephews.
