Khamla Keomany Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Spring Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery - Nashville on Jan. 6, 2026.
Khamla Keomany, at the age of 69 has peacefully passed away on January 1, 2026.

Khamla, son of his late father, Oun Keomany and his mother, Sengchanh Keomany who is still with us, was born in Laos on March 1, 1956. His life began with humility, resilience, and a quiet strength that would define him for the rest of his days. As a young man, he served honorably as a veteran of the Vietnam War, part of the United States Secret Army, Special Guerrilla Unit (S.G.U.). His service was marked by courage, sacrifice, and loyalty-values he carried with him long after the war ended.

Khamla was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was married to his loving wife, Manivanh , and together they built a life centered on family, perseverance, and unconditional love. He was a proud father to his daughter, Manila, and his son, Khammany Keomany, who preceded him in death a year and 9 months earlier-an unspoken pain resting deep in his heart.

Khamla took immense pride in being a grandfather to Ponkham Keomany , Kaliyah Keomany, and Love Jones. His family was his world. Though he was a man of few words, his love was always clear through his actions. He made his family a priority by being a protector and provider, which kept everyone together.

Khamla found joy in fishing, gardening, and cooking meals for his family-meals that brought everyone to the table and created lasting memories. He spent his days surrounded by those he loved most, including his brothers, sisters, and close friends, offering quiet companionship and steady support.

Rooted in his Buddhist faith, where he was a member of the Luang Prabang Association and Northern Lao Family Association. Khamla lived with humility, patience, and compassion. He believed in peace, balance, and the importance of caring for others. Even through hardship and loss, he remained gentle and selfless, always placing his family before himself.

Khamla will be remembered as a man who endured much, gave endlessly, and loved deeply. Even after enduring the pain of losing his son, he continued to live with grace, strength, and unwavering devotion. His legacy lives on through the family he protected, the values he instilled, and the countless moments of love he shared without ever seeking recognition.

May he now find peace beyond suffering, reunited with his son, and free from the weight of this world. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit, love, and teachings will live on forever in the hearts of his family. He was, and will always be, deeply loved and never forgotten.
