Gloria was strong. She was a very loving, compassionate & empathic person. She was inclusive & non-judgemental in her relationships with others. Her smile warmed hearts. She was a devoted mother, dedicated not only to her own children, but to others. Her home was a refuge for any child in need.

Early in her marriage she & her husband were farmers of sugar cane, vegetables & cattle.

She was a fabulous cook (The Queen of Cocoons), a skilled dancer & enjoyed crafts & doll-making. She played the organ & sang.

She was faith-filled, loved her church & she taught by example, that we should rest on the Lord for all answers.

The family would like to extend a special thanks Dr. Andrew Parks.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make straight your paths." Proverbs, Chapter 3, Verse 5-6.
