Edna Sharon Golden Gordy Obituary
Sharon Gordy of Lakeland passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on March 30, 2025. She was born on September 6, 1940, in Clewiston, FL.
Sharon was a Registered Nurse for 35 years. She worked at and retired from Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Previous to that she was the Director/Kindergarten teacher at Parkway Baptist Church in Fort Lauderdale, Fl.
Sharon loved her family, often talking about vacation trips and family gatherings which created everlasting memories.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Lemuel and Clara Belle Golden, her husband of 62 years Charlie, her daughter Connie Lee and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughter Pam (Terry) Winchester, grandchildren, Aaron, Trey and Troy (Ashley), great-grandchildren, Charity, Trent, Noah, Zoey and Joselyn. Sisters, Eunice, Dianne and Yvonne and brother Eugene.
A funeral service will be held on April 9, 2025, at 11am at Health Funeral Chapel with the family receiving visitors one hour prior. Interment will be at Oak Hill Burial Park.
