Diana Rogers Obituary
Born May 21, 1950, in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Robin "Bob" West and Elizabeth Wilson West.
Diana was a proud graduate of Southwestern Community College, where she earned her nursing degree. She dedicated many years of compassionate service to others through her work at Angel Hospital and then at Britthaven of Franklin.
Outside of her career, she found joy in crocheting, loved her Savior Jesus Christ, enjoyed playing the saxophone and treasured every moment spent with her beloved grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Rick Rogers, whom she married July 31, 1982; son, Eric (Meagan) Rogers; sister, Nadine McFarland; cherished grandchildren, Cooper, Madelaine and Sophie Rogers; niece, Jennifer (Tripp) Viverette; two great-nephews; and one great-niece.
Funeral services were held at 12 p.m., Saturday, March 14, at Macon Funeral Home. Pastor Lewis Smith officiated. The family received friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial followed at the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
