Tony Sciturro Obituary

Tony Michael Sciturro

9/26/1929-6/23/2022

Look in Webster's Dictionary under "Alpha Male" and you may very well see a picture of Tony Sciturro serving our country during the Korean War, owner of several successful businesses, and on the founding Board of Directors of the Garage Boys Club of Breakers Landing, Hutchinson Island, Florida.

Now, turn to D and find the word "DAD". Tony will be proudly standing there with his two daughters and their families. Also included are the relatives and young friends that he mentored as though they were his own. Family was everything to Tony, a strong character trait that he learned from his Sicilian parents and relatives.

In the S's you will find Tony under "Sportsman". A lover and master of tennis, golf, squash, racquet ball, and handball, he was a master gardner, champion Golden Gloves boxer, a damn good competitive chef, and a self-proclaimed cowboy.

Also, in the S's thumb back to "Spiritual". There you will find a picture of Tony contemplating a problem of life, always waiting for Jesus to speak. As tuff as this man was, there was always great consideration for a higher power.

This world has lost one of the toughest, kindness, most considerate men that has ever walked the planet.

Tony is survived by his wife, Lynn Cobb Faulk-Sciturro of Hutchinson Island, FL; daughters, Rena Wilson and Jana Goldstein (Dr. Larry) of Colorado; granddaughters, Kelly Horrigan (Liz Madresh) of Albuquerque, NM and Erin Hart (Matt) of Colorado; and great-granddaughter, Hazel Kira Hart. He is also survived by stepdaughters, Lisa Faulk Powell (Richard Knowlson) and Elizabeth (Betsy) Faulk Bridges (Rodney); step-grandchildren, Palmer Bridges (Steven), Davis Powell and Morgan B. Gavin (Pat) and step-great-grandson, Greyson Harrington Gavin, all of North Carolina. Also surviving are brothers, Sam Sciturro (Pat Summerlee) of Florida and Jim Sciturro of Michigan and sister-in-law, Rosalie Sciturro of Michigan, brother and sister-in-law, Jack Buffo and Linda of Michigan and very special nieces and nephews and friends.

Tony was predeceased by his loving wife of 58 years, Joan Loverde Sciturro as well as his brothers, Joe, Bill, and Mike.

There is no service planned at this time. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. An online guest book may be signed at www.haisleyfuneralhome.com
