Thomas Harris Obituary

Tom went home to Heaven on July 18, 2024 with Kathy at his side at Penrose Hospital Colorado Springs, CO.

Tom was born October 5, 1963 in Detroit, MI to Richard and MaDonna Harris.

At 3 months old Tom's family moved to Mesa, AZ where he spent most of his life.

On September 28, 1990 Tom married Kathy Korth, his life partner for 37 years. They had two boys, Michael and Kevin, and a step-son Jesse Miller.

They moved to Durango, CO in 2004.

Tom's passion in life was being with his 3 boys and grandkids. He enjoyed riding street bikes, quads, golf carts, and jet skis. He loved classic cars, trucks, bikes, and liked to restored them.

Tom worked hard his whole life installing ceramic tile in AZ. He installed for Shea Homes.

In Durango, he installed for Three Springs, Dalton Club House, and several contractors in the area. He always liked to be busy.

Tom is survived by Kathy Korth, his 3 sons, grandkids Luke Mackey, Matthew Miller, Zackary Harris, Nevaeh, and Evelyn Harris. Truly, the loves of his life. 2 sisters Karen Morales and Ruth Harris, sister-in-law Kandy (Mike) Myers, brother-in-law Buzz (Jan) Korth. Numerous newphews and nieces.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Rick and Kevin Harris, nephew Jason Harris, and brother-in-laws George Morales, Kevin Korth, and Kenny Reinhold, father-in-law Robert Korth, mother-in-law Barbara Korth who went to Heaven July 15, 2024 3 days before him, and sister-in-law Karen Reinhold.

A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 3-6pm at VFW, 1550 Main Ave, Durango.
