Thomas Bevis Obituary
OKEECHOBEE - Thomas Louis Bevis died August 27, 2021. He was born March 12, 1947 in Florence, Alabama to Louis Daniel Bevis and Mary Katherine Robertson. A resident of Okeechobee for 49 years, he was a member of Church of God of Prophecy. He was a retired pastor of Church of God of Prophecy. His family was his heart.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Deborah Bevis, of Okeechobee; sons, Tony Bevis (Jennifer), of Moore Haven, Rodney Bevis (Chris), of Lakeland; daughter, Talena Chittenden (Robert), of Okeechobee; grandchildren, Alison, Robyn, Brent, Taylor; great grandchildren, Lainey, Bryant, Payton; and brother, Pastor Mike Bevis (Deborah), of Okeechobee.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. until services at 10 a.m. Friday, September 3, 2021 at Buxton & Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
