Susan Garcia Obituary

Susan M. Garcia passed away peacefully on May 8, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Texas. She lived a fulfilling life, finding joy in simple pleasures and spreading love and kindness to all those around her.

Her Journey began in Leadville, Colorado, where she was born to Robert and Georgia Watts, one of six children. At sixteen years old, she met James Garcia, the love of her life, in Durango, Colorado, together they shared the joys of raising three children, and almost 43 years of love. She spent time working at several jobs around Durango.

Her love for her grandchildren and adopted grandchildren was matched only by her fondness for sewing, crafting, gardening, and enthusiastically supporting the Denver Broncos!

She is survived by her loving husband James Garcia. Three children Josh(Julie) Garcia, Gilbert Garcia, Kami(Shane) Tanner, five grandchildren, and four of her siblings. A small service will be held on July 20th, please contact the family for details.
