Sue Ariano Obituary
Alfreda Sue Hudson was born on July 21, 1953 in Walsenburg, CO. She is survived by her four children: Robbie of Durango, CO; Mario of Scottsdale, AZ; Rocky (Elizabeth) of Denver, CO and Tessa of Denver, CO; parents: Chick and Floy Hudson of Walsenburg, CO; siblings: Sandy (Dick) Dissler of Pueblo, CO; Sherri (Bob) Daher of Walsenburg, CO; Butch (Evie) Hudson of Pueblo, CO and Sheila (Chuck) Maccheitto of Rye, CO. She is also survived by the five grandchildren whom she adored and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Sue was vibrant, giving and talented beyond measure, a beautiful soul and the life of the party. She had a gift for helping and taking care of others, always willing to help out a friend, family member or stranger in need. She was incredibly skilled in creating gorgeous stained glass pieces, luxurious blankets and designing beautiful handbags. She took pride in making these special gifts for family and friends. Those who received these gifts will cherish them forever because of the comfort they bring and the memory of the love, time and energy she put into making each one. Sue will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
A service will be held at 2PM on Friday, March 11, 2016 at St. Columba Catholic Church. 1800 East 2nd Avenue, Durango, CO. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association. http://www.diabetes.org/

My deepest condolences to all of the Ariano family. Sue was like a mother to us all cheering us on in what ever we were doing. Mothered is when she needed to and be friended us to show us how to have a good time. Her laugh and smile were always present and I'm happy to have had her take part in my life. There will never be enough "I'm sorries" but know you have plenty of family and friends for support.

Floy, Chick, Sandy, Sherri, Butch, Sheila, her Children, Grandchildren and Families, my very deep condolences for the loss of your Susie. When we would travel to Durango to watch our son play football for Fort Lewis, we would run into Susie. She was a wounderful person with a lively soul. When Susie went with us on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, she became the life of the group. Wherever we went whether in Palestinian areas or in Israel, she was the attraction of the group. All those promises that were made to her. She simply laughed them off, but always kindly.
She will be greatly missed. Rocky and Mario, I wish that I could be there with all of you.
