Shirley Shipp Obituary

Shirley Ann Shipp, aged 82, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 1st 2023. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Shirley saw beauty in all things and all people. Her greatest joy was her family and many wonderful friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, and a friend to all she met.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Harley Shipp, and her four children Kelly Sanders, Perry, Kevin, and Eric Shipp. She also leaves behind her siblings Dorothy Atencio, Betty Box, Joe, Paul, and Pete Vigil, Stephanie Monte, and Stella Cox. She has loving grandchildren Ileah, Briana, Lauren, Ethan, Hannah, Colton, Kadin, Calvin, Collin, and Camille. Her great-grandchildren Sofia Sanchez and Edessa, Morgan, and Adam Stockard will also miss her dearly. She leaves behind a large, loving family, with many beloved nieces and nephews.

She has joined her heavenly sisters Rose Wrieto, Dolores Atencio, and Dora Merhing, along with her parents Alcario and Juanita Vigil, her first husband Robert Lawrence Walls, and grandson Adam Sanders.

Shirley will be laid to rest later this year; date to be announced to close family and friends. The family asks that you keep her in your prayers at this time as they celebrate her wonderful, long life and grieve her immeasurable loss.
