I always enjoyed visiting with Roxy, she was very bubbly, happy all the time, worked with her at the BarD, children rode her bus for years, RIP Roxy, you were one of my favorites.

My memories of this dear lady go all the way back to Sambos in Durango! We were just at the Bar D this summer and I couldn’t help but think of her and my time spent working there with her. She was a true original, always keeping an eye on us kids. She will be missed.

Roxey was one of a kind. I will never forget that my brother and I were the first kids that she would pick up on her bus at the Cascade Hwy Camp and I am now 45yo. She may or may not have had to wake us up some mornings and would arrive early just in case we slept in and the coffee was always ready for her as she waited. She would always make the long ride each day fun. I will never forgot that she would be wearing a light up tie or glasses with windshield wipers on them or any other thing she could find to make us all laugh. I will never forget that she had blocks attached to the pedals of the bus so that she could drive. I talk about the best bus driver to my kids all the time and how I wish they could get to experience someone like Roxey in their lives. She was not only a bus driver but a great friend and a great person. We need more like Roxey in this world! Prayers to the family and to arguably the greatest bus driver in the world. 12972 feet or 12968 feet will always be something known only by my brother myself and Roxey and I had to mention for her.

My sweet friend. Prayers for your family. You were my friend and confidant for many years, and you will be so missed.
