Rosemary Enenbach Obituary

Rosemary Schlosser Enenbach went to her Heavenly Father and to see her family and friends in Heaven on October 8, 2024. She died at her home in Aztec. She was a loving mother, wife, friend, and neighbor, and we miss her dearly. She was born in Los Alamos, New Mexico on May 25, 1958. She was raised in Los Alamos where she met her future husband, Bill Enenbach. They had many adventures together before she almost gave up on him because he took too long to propose. After marriage, they moved to Aztec and had two wonderful daughters, Kate and Molly, who are now having their own adventures. Anyone who knew Rosemary loved her and could see all her wonderful qualities. She was kind, loving, thoughtful, generous, helpful, funny, positive, compassionate, and made sure she did her share of worrying for her daughters. After high school, she started out as a nurse until marriage when she began the difficult job of watching after her husband and two kids. While her daughters grew up, she participated in many of her daughter's activities such as soccer, dance, girl scouts, music lessons, destination imagination, church, and school activities. She was a soccer coach for both of her daughters. During her time living in Aztec, she also worked at the San Juan County Extension Service Office, the Library Café, as an Avon Representative, and as a seamstress for many years. She loved downhill skiing, cross country skiing, mountain climbing, rock climbing, painting, cooking, baking, and surviving the other activities her husband led them on. She enjoyed walking in the hills with her friends, taking friends with her on treks in the Grand Canyon and up Imogene Pass, making baked good with her daughters especially decorating sugar cookies for every holiday, dancing with her husband to many types of music, and adventuring in the mountains with Bill, the love of her life. You could find her any given day helping neighbors with yardwork or shoveling their walks each snow or taking care of her mallard ducks, one of which would land on her shoulder or the top of her head and comfortably perch there until she moved. She always took care of everyone she knew, always checking to see what everyone needed, always keeping notes about what everyone had going on, liked, and said. She always made everything beautiful and warm. She was also so playful, endlessly selfless, and throughout many challenges, she never complained unless it was about the cutting down of trees in Aztec. She was preceded in death by her mom and dad, John and Teresa Schlosser and sisters Lorraine and Joanne. She is survived by her three brothers and sister in-laws, Paul and Linda, Steve and Evelyn, and Andrew Schlosser and their sons and daughters, her husband Bill, her daughter Kate and her husband Allen, and her daughter Molly and her fiancé Jivo. If you loved her, which if you knew her, how could you not, please join us for a celebration of her and her life on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 4 p.m. at the Lane's residence, 15 Rd 3333, Aztec NM 87410.

Bill and family, my deepest sympathy and condolences. I only knew Rosemary through our connection while working for San Juan County, but every time I saw your family out and about in Aztec, she was so friendly. She had a lovely spirit.

Bill, Kate, Mollie,
I will miss my friend and neighbor so much. So many wonderful memories: potlucks, enjoying Halloween skits, caroling at Christmas and exchanging Christmas goodies, cards and recipes. Sharing talks on the patio and being a wonderful friend to my sister Mavis when she visited from Singapore. I will miss her warmth and friendship.

I lived on Iris drive for 10 years and almost daily when I would go walking I would run into her. She was delightful and always seemed so happy. We would always exchange a "good morning" I personally only knew her from being in the neighborhood. My deepest condolences to the family.

Bill, Kate and Molly please know that you all are in my prayers. I was shocked to hear of Rosemary's passing. She was an influencer in my life. She talked me into doing and pushing myself into doing things I would never have done without Rosemary pushing me. Grand Canyon, Immogene and a few fourteeners.
