My condolences and heart felt love go out to you, Anita, and your bother and sister, your mom and Terri, and the whole extended family. Losing a parent is beyond my compression, so I can only but imagine the sorrow you all must feel. May God watch over all of you, and put his loving arms around each of you, and hold you all close when those waves of deep emotions creep up and crash over you. I pray that he gives you all strength to persevere through this difficult time and know that Bob (your dad, your husband, your grandfather, your brother, your friend and your confidant), is still with you, watching over your and protecting you through the rest of this life you've left to live. Think of him during the happy moments, and know that he's right there with you, cheering you on while enjoying his time back home with God in His all loving kingdom of Heaven; where you feel no pain or negativity, sorrow or destress, only love and joy and endless knowledge - and he's still enjoying all the things his soul loves to do! You are all in my prayers, and I treasure our friendship, Anita, even when time seems to slip away from us. Please reach out to me if you need anything, even if it's just a hug to help numb the sorrow, or an ear to listen.
With the deepest of sincerity,
Shanna Harris Clarke~

Nick, I am sure sorry to hear about your Dad, we had some great times together.
I wish I knew he had moved to Aztec, I would have made it a point to get together with him and rehash old times.

I went to West Jr. High in 1970 and was in Mrs. Kingsbury's Home Room with Bob, Dale Hatzenbuler, Tom Hawkinson and a few other guys that made sure there weren't too many dull moments. Bob always had that "impish grin" that made you suspect he was up to something. Was sad to read this - thanks for posting the pictures. Looks like he had a full and adventurous life. My condolences to his family.

Nick, my condolences to you and your family. Nothing will ever replace your Dad, but nothing can replace all the memories you will always have.
