He was a great story teller. His sense of humor will be greatly missed. We enjoyed his company while traveling to Montrose Co for the Viet Nam Veterans motorcycle run. He will be missed this year.

There is an old adage, "the good die young". Well, the good also die at an older age. I honestly can say, I have never heard a bad word spoken about Richard. I'm so happy I was able to spend time with him the last time you were in Davenport. Pam, my deepest sympathy to you and your family. The Peav was a good man.

He was a great guy and great boss but a better friend--always willing to help and caring what was going on in the lives of others. I will remember his sense of humor and that laugh! He loved his life in Colorado and his family and dogs. He will always be with you and in the hearts of his friends, forever. Dear Pam and family: What joy I have in knowing Rich. I always considered him a "jewel" and was happy to accompany him on his healing journey. I will be unable to be at his memorial service since I am traveling to bury my father during that time, but know that I will be present in spirit, and offer you support and love. Bev Sondag

Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day, Unseen, unheard, but always near, Still loved still missed, but always near. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

Our deepest sympathy and love to Pam and family

The obituary said it all, 'gentle spirit, simple ways, wisdom' but also sense of humor. We were fortunate to have known him and he will be missed. Pat Fennelly from Davenport.
