Randy Michaud Obituary

Randy Joseph Michaud completed his life's journey on July 3, 2023 with Maryann, his loving wife of 29 years by his side. He was born on March 6, 1953 in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. He also lived in Texas and Pennsylvania where he grew up.

Randy was a proud Vietnam Era veteran. He was drafted and served in the United States Army during the final years of the war. Randy eventually made his way to Colorado where he completed a degree in Radio/TV Film. He was very creative and enjoyed woodworking, film, photography and music. Randy lived in Durango, Colorado where he worked in the construction field and later as a supervisor for La Plata County.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Julia Michaud. He is survived by his wife, Maryann; son, Jason (Chenoah) Michaud; brother Glenn (Lupita) Michaud; sister Linda (Tom) Michaud; step-children, Amy Wilson, Tracy Bacus, and Andrew Edwards; six step-grandchildren, nine step-great grandchildren and numerous cousins.

The family would like to thank the staff from Centura Hospice, especially nurse Jenny, for their kindness and compassion during Randy's final days.

My condolences to the Michaud family. I didn´t know Randy well, but I do have fond and fun memories of the last family reunion. Linda and Glenn I know it is hard to lose a sibling. Trust in God and reach out to friends and family for support.
