Phyllis Roundy Obituary
Mrs. Roundy was born to John Harold and Martha Holly Jolly on Oct. 19, 1923, in San Bernardino, Calif.
"Phyllis was quick to pay a sincere compliment to all who crossed her path and made friends with nearly everyone she met," her family said.
Mrs. Roundy was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Roundy.
She is survived by her daughter, Kate Miller, of Bayfield; sons Jeff Roundy of Ventura, Calif., and James Roundy of Santa Paula; sister, Holly Howell, of Del Rey Beach, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 604 Ojai Road in Santa Paula. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, also at the LDS Church. Burial will occur at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, next to her husband at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton, Calif.
