One day in the Fall of 2013, while Ed was working on our newly acquired RV in our Dalton Ranch driveway, a man walking his dog stopped to chat. He expressed interest in our RV and thought about getting one himself. He explained that his wife was an artist and thought it would be a great way to travel to places she wanted to explore and paint the landscape. Soon after, a big beautiful new RV sat in their driveway! That's how our friendship with David and Sharon Mantor began, one that blossomed well beyond RVing. Plus, our shared love for dogs sealed the deal.

As we mourn the loss of an outstanding gentleman and wonderful friend, we are remembering his friendly nature, ever-present smile, classy demeanor and extraordinary intelligence. Yet, we take comfort in the many fun and adventurous memories we shared as neighbors in Durango, RVing companions, and snowbirds in our homes in Gold Canyon, AZ. Although David has gone to be with the Lord, the spirit of his friendship and the impact he made on our lives will l remain forever in our hearts.

We share Sharon's grief and that of his beloved family, and we send our deepest heartfelt condolences. May the love and memories you shared bring you peace and comfort.
