Patricia Yeager Obituary

Patricia Colleen Yeager / 1933-2024 / Boise, ID

Patricia was born in Durango, Colorado on February 7, 1933. A 3rd generation native Coloradoan, born to Robert (Bob) and Jessie Mae Yeager, Pat was the baby of the family and on March 15, 2024, she was the last to pass away. She was preceded in death by her Mom and Dad, and eight siblings: Jerry, Dick, Phil, Jean, Bob, Shug, Bim, and Hunk.

Growing up in the Cascade Creek area north of Durango, Pat attended primary school, and loved to swim, dance and ski! Patricia taught skiing at Purgatory Ski Resort and was one of the prettiest skiers you will ever see. Pat stated - "We had the very best of Cascade, and as a family - we were one of a kind, all eleven of us."

In 1951, Pat graduated from Durango High School and would go on to become a cosmetologist, graduating from Abilene Beauty College, Abilene, Texas. Later, Pat worked in fashion retail until her retirement. She loved dogs, enjoyed thrift shopping, puzzles, flowers and refinishing old furniture. Her laugh was unforgettable.

Pat is survived by 3 children: Robbie (Diane) Pierce - Redmond, Ut, Ange Hill and Mike Pierce - both of Boise, ID; as well as her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. As an avid dog lover, donations to an animal rescue of your choice would warm her heart. A celebration of life is planned for summer 2024.
