Patricia Plemons Obituary

I think of Pat often, the dear friend of my childhood. Pat and I did many fun things together as we grew up. Our mothers were best friends.
I miss you Pat and think of you often. I miss your laugh, your quiet ways, your faith, and your determination. I love you.

Pat and I were best friends in grade school and junior high. I think of her often and remember the fun times we had together. How wonderful it will be to see her again.

I was 13 years old when I met Patti. I was on a vacation trip with my parents, Ronnie & Phyllis Sullivan. Patti and her family were so kind and gracious to my family. We even stayed in their guest house one time and went skiing for the first time with them. I am blessed to have known Patti and her family. Thanks for all of the fond memories and love and hospitality. Rest in peace in gods arms. With love, Dana Sullivan Brown

You know how much I loved Patti. She was a very special part of my life. There were no others like her. She was my friend, in every sense of the word. We laughed, we cried, we shared.

You Roy, were the love of her life. Everything she had ever dreamed of having. She truly knew she was loved and that your boys indeed had the best father they could be blessed with.

Know that your are all in my thoughts and prayers. There is a part in my soul that will always feel empty.

Your service for her was beautiful. I loved seeing a side of Patti that I hadn't really taken the time to know. What I wouldn't give to be able to speak with her again and learn from her. I want the knowledge she had. That inner peace, knowing who she was and why.

Dear Plemons Family, So sorry to hear of Pat's passing. (I always knew her as Pat during schooldays.) It was great to see her last summer at our reunion. She remember that in 6th grade we "liked each other." That's what we called boy friends and girl friends back then. My Peace be with you during these difficult days.

Dearest Roy & Families and Ray: On behalf of the DURANGO HIGH SCHOOL CLASS of 1970, we all wish to extend our deepest sympathies to each of you. Patti was truly a warm and loving person, who touched each of us in many ways. She was so kind and sweet. Some of our classmates went to grade school all the way up to High School with her and we all enjoyed our school years together. Many classmates got to see she and Roy at our 45th Class Reunion Picnic in August of 2015. Many of us knew Roy as well, and felt you were such wonderful people and a great couple. Personally, in High School, we each were so impressed how impeccable Patti dressed and she was a friend to all with her most pleasant and friendly personality. She was such a joy. What a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, "sister" and friend you were Patti. I can't express how much I loved and appreciated you dear lady. It won't be long until we meet again; I know you are rejoicing with your dear Jesus!

We are saddened to hear of Patricia's passing, and care and feel for all of you in your loss. Patricia and I grew up together as cousins but I always considered her my best friend and sister.
As children we played dress up,cherished our dolls,played tetherball, jacks and hopscotch for hours. Fond memories of vacations spent together skiing, going to the cabin, fishing and picking wildflowers,inner tubing down the river, and going to Disneyland! We cried and held each other when told we were not tall enough to go on a ride...then she showed her glowing smile and we started giggling from her contagious laughter. I will miss her gentle calming voice.
Such a sweet and inspiring soul and talented and caring person who loved her family sooo much.
She was a beautiful flower in the Garden of Life and will always have a special place in our hearts.

I was so sorry to hear about Pat. I feel so blessed to have seen her at the last high school class reunion. I have so many fond memories of her as we went through many years of school and church activities.
