I met Jack and Nola after church in Durango. I sat across from them at lunch and was listening to their story of living in the jungle. I asked where and she said Bolivia. I told her that my uncle was a pilot and fly Missionaries in Bolivia, and that he did that with Wycliff. She said oh, what was his name? I told her and she stopped her fork in mid air and mouth wide open! She then exclaimed that she knew Henry Redyke! None of us could believe it, we were floored. That's how I met Nola, and Jack. I'm so thankful that God let us figure that out. My cousin came out from Tulsa just to meet them.

Nola and Jack were our near neighbors at Tumi Chucua Jungle Center. We appreciated their friendship and admired their dedication to the Esse Ejja people and their Bible translation.

Nola and Jack were our close neighbors in Tumi Chucua. Nola was a steady mentor to the young me at the time...so grateful. She always exhibited a tranquil, enduring faith in the Lord.

It was such a pressure getting to know you both! What a wonderful gift God gave me.

Thankful to have known Nola and Jack. They had a fine ministry in Bolivia, and wherever they were, their hearts' desire was to make Christ known to everyone they could possibly reach. I look forward to seeing them again.

Nola was inspiration for all of us. She lived her life with a positive light. In her senior years, I remember her riding the tire swing at the 1st Baptist Church Camp. She rode it from the platform and out over the steep drop off. She was smiling the whole time.
