Naomi Autin Obituary
Naomi Autin, of Amite, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026, at the age of 68. She was born on Friday, June 14, 1957, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Naomi was a great and loving woman who was hardworking and selfless. She put those she cared about before herself. When she wasn’t doting on her family, she could be found deep in the pages of a good book or appreciating the beauty of roses, which were her favorite flowers. Naomi will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Clayton Autin Sr.; son, Bryan Autin; daughters, Crystal Vernon (Tim) and Dawn Autin; grandchildren, Brelyn Autin, Owen Autin, Safarie Reliford, Alyssa Vernon, Joshuah Kern, Harley Kern, Serenity Kern, Adam Kern, Peter Caulfield, Anthony Kern, Daniel Morgan, Victoria Autin, Kayla Autin, and Addyson Autin, and siblings, Dwayne Buras, Paul Buras, and Shawn Buras.
Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Gauthreaux and Eddie Buras; son, Clayton Autin Jr., and siblings, Eddie Buras Jr., Leon Buras, Tori Buras, and Robin Whalen.
Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm.
