Michael Thunder Obituary
Michael was a tea master, a writer, a gardener, a scholar, a chef, a teacher, an artist, a merchant, a mentor, a horse whisperer, a realtor and passionate friend.
Michael combined an inquiring mind with a vigorous spirit. He overflowed with humor and love.
He sought beauty in nature, especially in the mountains, the sea and the desert. He was a spiritual astronaut, deeply committed to a lifelong inward journey.
He is survived by his wife Deborah, his children Sam, Sophie, Brice and David, and 9 grandchildren, who know him as Boom Boom. He loved his family immensely and to infinity.

I knew Thunder as a kind, caring, creative, funny, wise, and talented friend. He came to me for help, and like many of his community, I suspect he may have ended up helping me more than I helped him. RIP Dear Thunder. And much love to you, Deborah.

Michael was larger than life but no more so than when he lead the Carnahan Clan in water aerobics at the pool of a friends house in 2010. He had us all laughing so hard we could hardly do the work out Love to you Michael and to Deborah
