Mike was indeed a treasure found in the field of education! Can so clearly see his smile even though it has been years since I have seen him.
So sorry to hear of Mike's passing and the loss to the world of his caring presence.

I´m so very sorry. I worked with Mike for several years at Eagle Valley Middle School. His heart was always with the kids - his own and his students. What a tremendous loss. My heartfelt condolences to Natalie and Luke, the great loves of his life.

Remembering Mike as a student, athlete, colleague, and friend. Mike always communicated a keen interest in the lives of others and was so proud of his own family. Heart is breaking for Nikki, Pat, Luke, and the entire Morrissey family. Praying that God provides comfort and peace.

Mike was truly singular in many ways. He had a lot of his Dads´s great intellect . He had his Mom´s great big heart . He helped so many students. He loved his siblings and family. Moreover, Mike felt deeply. He was intuitive, and cared so much about people. I always enjoyed visiting with him. His keen sense of humor often caught me off-guard. I am pretty sure Mike is with the angels continuing his quest for helping others. Sending my condolences and prayers to his beautiful mother Nikki and all his family and friends. Losing a beloved person too soon defies understanding. We must rely on our faith. We must always keep Mike´s memory alive. He did make our world a better place. May he rest in peace.

I have known Michael and his family most of my life, and a more special family, just doesn't exist. His dad was one of my first coaches, and Pat was my son's team mate. Nikki is a special woman, and an awesome mother. My heart aches for anyone that has known them, and they are in my prayers. God Blessed me to have known him.
