Michael Keleher Obituary

Durango resident Michael Andrew Keleher died Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at his home. He was 54. The cause of death was not

disclosed.

Mr. Keleher was born to Andrew and Virginia Keleher in Denver on Aug. 31, 1955. He grew up in Denver and graduated

from Cherry Creek High School in 1973. Mr. Keleher attended the Colorado School of Mines in Golden and Fort Lewis

College.

He worked as a carpenter for a number of local construction companies.

On Oct. 17, 1997, he married Rickie Lynn Talbot in Durango.

Mr. Keleher lived in the Durango area for more than 30 years.

Mr. Keleher enjoyed camping, hiking, bicycling and spending time with his animals.

Mr. Keleher is survived by his wife, Rickie Lynn Keleher, of Durango; father, Andrew Keleher, of Denver; sisters

Catherine Cook of Denver and Ann Dinsmore of Fort Collins; brothers Thomas Keleher of Loveland and Edward Keleher of

Craig; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation will occur. No services are planned at this time.
