Michael Dennis Duggan

Born on May 28, 1952, Son of Margaret R. and Robert J. Duggan. Michael grew up on the south side of Chicago, and if you ask his friends he had the street smarts to show for it.

Michael moved with Marge and Bob to Durango, Colorado in the late 70's where he helped them run the Valley View Lodge for nearly 3 decades. Michael also worked and met many of his lifelong friends at Tamarron Resort before joining more friends in the construction industry. Michael was avidly devoted to his family and dedicated much of his life to the family business at the lodge.

In the early 80's Michael was married and had two children, he continued to care for the lodge, his children and eventually his treasured grandchildren for many years.

Michael is described by his friends and family as a "one of a kind man who you could always count on." He told his grandchildren daily "no lying, no cheating, no stealing" and he firmly believed in always doing the right thing. Michael was a man of character and that will always be remembered by all who knew him.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Duggan, his father Robert Duggan, his brother Robert (Bobby) Duggan, his brother James Duggan, and his brother-in-laws; Charles Fedel and Mark Panyko. Michael is survived by his children Casey (Aubrey) Duggan and Michaela (Robert) Kidd, his grandchildren Riley Duggan-Kidd, Case Kidd and Cole Kidd, his brothers; Patrick (Patricia) Duggan and Thomas (Carmen) Duggan. Sisters; Norene Fedel, Diane Hopkins, and sister-in-law Shirley Duggan. Michael was blessed with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and his three beloved dogs; Stormy, Ana and Bruno.
