Mary Taylor Obituary
With a full, heavy heart we invite you to share in a celebration of Mary Kay Taylor's life, this next Thursday, June 10th at the Chapel building located at Fort Lewis College. The service will welcome visitors anytime from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Please arrive whenever best for you.
Mary Kay's service will center on an indoor gallery walk of photos, artifacts, and stories from her life. At each crossroad, participants are invited to write memories and wisdom on wings of paper. Following the service, a digital gallery of these wings will help lift our spirits in memory and community. While the Chapel is limited to
30 people at a time, participants are welcome to the orchard outside to converse in company of loved ones and the mountains.
There will be a silent auction of some of Mary Kay's belongings. All proceeds will benefit a choice between the Southwest Center for Independence, the fight against breast cancer, or suicide prevention.
A separate service will be held for those living at Junction Creek Rehab Center, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm that same day. A memorial piece will be dedicated to Mary Kay's memory.
Thank you so much for opening your heart to Mary Kay. We would be honored if you shared stories, photos, and blessings with those who continue to cherish her memory.
