Mary Orbison Obituary

Mary Ellen Orbison, 72, of Durango, Colorado, died 5/26/2022, at home, surrounded by family, Born 6/21/1949. A service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Durango Church of Christ, 2100 West 3rd Ave. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Guy; children: Mikie (Jarren) Kindsfather, Gabrielle (Craig) McCollum and Josh (Lisa) Orbison; grandchildren: Jaxen, Macie, Lincoln and Capri; brother: Delbert (Carolyn) Roe. She attended Abilene Christian University. Mary was involved in Bible Bowl across the nation as a coach and test author for 40 years. She loved flowers, scrapbooking, family trips and grandkids. Dedicated homemaker, loving wife and mother.

Mary lived a street behind me and I also knew her from church activities. I was several years younger, but she was always so nice and kind to the silly child I was. So sorry for your loss.
