Mary Martinez Obituary

Mary Ann "Tina" was born on June 4, 1964, in Durango,Co to Lenora and Anselmo Martinez. She passed on April 19, 2022 at St. Anthony hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She grew up in the Ignacio/Durango area along with brothers; Eddie, Marcus, Joby, Cypriano, Chris and sister Polly as well as many other family and friends.

Tina was an amazing cook and loved to host family dinners and get togethers. She was a devoted daughter, mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She had a huge heart and beautiful smile to go along with it. She was always willing to help out whoever and whenever she could.

Her family meant everything to her. Her kids and grandkids were the joy of her life. Spending time with family and friends, listening to music, camping, days at the lake, vacations, and traveling were all things she enjoyed..

Tina met her husband, Andrew "Andy" in 1980. They had two kids; a son, Leroy and a daughter, LeNora. They later married in 1999 in Durango, Co, and were blessed with 10 grandkids.

She is preceded in death by husband; Andy Martinez, parents; Lenora And Anselmo Martinez, and brother; Marcus Martinez.

Tina is survived by her children; LeNora Martinez-Barry( Preston) of Ignacio, Co, Leroy Martinez (Adrieanna) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and grandchildren; Andrew Martinez, Julio Martinez, Ethan Barry, Ayden Barry, and Julianna Barry all of Ignacio,Co, and Samarah Martinez, Kaydince Martinez, Marcus Martinez, Jesus Martinez, and Brieanna Martinez all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Siblings; Polly Manzanares (Willie) of Grand Junction, Co, Eddie Martinez (Debbie), Joby Martinez (Elaine), Chris Martinez (Yvonne), and Cypriano Martinez all of Ignacio, Co. Numerous nieces and nephews all of whom she loved very much.

A rosary will be held on May 6, 2022, at at Hood Mortuary at 4:00 pm. A Mass will be held May 7, 2022 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Ignacio, CO at 9:00 am.
