Marilyn Reynolds Obituary

Reynolds, Marilyn S. (Lyn)

86, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016. Born January 30, 1930 in Westerloo, New York. Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, John R. Reynolds; parents Harry and Martha Whiting. Survived by her three daughters; Rebecca Reynolds, Santa Fe, NM; Laurie Reynolds, Wichita, KS; Nancy (Kirk) Allinger, Wichita, KS. Also survived by her sisters; Anne Watkins of Conway, SC; and Jean (George) Whiting of Manassas, VA; 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and one on the way. The family would like to thank the special caregivers at Sunshine Gardens, Clare Bridge, Regent Park and Kansas Masonic Home, who helped mom in her long journey with dementia. The family would also like to thank all those from Good Shepherd Hospice, for their kindness, gentleness and support during this time. Cremation has occurred, and burial will be in Durango, Colorado at a later date.

Sorry to learn of the passing of your dear mother. I have thought of her often over the years. Your mother and father always held a special place in my heart. Their kindness and caring were very special to me. She also made the best Christmas cookies. Love and prayers to you all.
