Marilyn Nutter Obituary

A few years ago, I had an extra ticket for the Polar Express in Durango and decided to give it to the most positive and enthusiastic person I met at the day´s exercise class at the Senior Center. Marilyn was an easy choice as she danced and smiled, encouraging everyone else to do the same..if she could do it at her age, she said, which was in her early 90s, everyone could...she was delighted with the offer, met the other three of us in the group, dressed appropriately in PJs and a red scarf,was in awe throughout the entire trip to the North Pole, laughed and sang carols, hugged Santa Claus and left us all grateful for such a Christmas adventure..we saw each other occasionally, talked on the phone, shared our common connections and stories. She was always positive, and beautiful, outgoing and fun,proud of her family and she added so much to all of our lives..Lux Aeterna, Marilyn..

May she rest in peace. My condolences to her family. She was a sweet person. She will be missed.

Marilyn was the coolest senior ever. I remember not to long ago Marilyn dancing to Ralph Dinosaur at the Elks. She was a bright light so energetic.
