Marguerite Mannelly Obituary
Cissy was born in Oak Park, IL October 15,1929. She graduated from Colorado College in 1949, and married James P. Mannelly; Mother of seven children and seventeen grandchildren. Her rich faith lead her to be a life long participant in Catholic Affairs.
She was preceded in death by sons, Patrick James Mannelly and Michael John Mannelly.
She is survived by James P. Mannelly, son: Matthew (Kathy) Mannelly, daughter: Maureen (Steve) Tomlin, son: Joseph (Joann) Mannelly, daughters: Eileen Land and Colleen (Forrest) Jones, daughter in law: Janice Mannelly, and seventeen grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at 11 a.m. at St. Columba Church, 1800 E. 2nd Ave., Durango.

i know how many fun stories you shared of your parents - how you enjoyed facetime with them since you couldn't visit in person.

Joe, Joann and Mannelly family: We were sorry to hear of Cissys' passing. Rita was fortunate, at an unfortunate time, to meet Cissy briefly at Mayo. One of the things she remembers was an awesome piece of jewelry that indicated the birth of her children and grandchildren. This was an outstanding statement of family and how she valued each of you. May you always cherish the times of fun and laughter and her Christian example of how to truly live to it's fullest. Rita & Joe Brinker

I will miss her strong emphasis on social justice and the help that she constantly fought for at the orphanage in Mexico. She was a very good friend of Fr. Clifford Norman. Give my regards to all the family.
